Hello!! I've been writing a lot for my assignments here, so I thought that a video of me rambling would be appropriate. One thing that I really didn't say enough about is what an amazing man Nelson Mandela is. My admiration of him since high school was only confirmed in the days of my visit here so far. I nearly cried in the museum. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my awkwardness and the mole underneath my chin.

ReplyDeleteI have no idea what I am doing on here, but I just wanted to tell you that I watched this! :) When I think about being in another country, I think of the stress of being in a new place and not having a routine. I think it was really interesting how you touched upon the fact that things move much slower there than here, and when you mentioned getting online for the first time in a week and everything was demanding your time, it was almost overwhelming, I realized that was my life right now! (I'm also taking ENGL 202A online for a maymester, but still...) I liked the video because you could hear what you were trying to say in the tone that you meant, and watching a video for 6 minutes is much easier than reading a long post. It was kinda cool! I've noticed that in new posts you've mentioned the "new" Emma, and I think that's really sweet. What a cool experience, being in South Africa! I wish you the best!!
